Awards 5 Vans to 5 Families!
It was an extraordinary day this past Sunday at Carlucci’s Restaurant! Our “Kids on the Go” Scholarship was awarded to 5 families! Here is how it all went down….
Carlos received a $20,000 grant towards a new van with a lift. Through a “Pay it Forward” generous program, Carlos’s family donated their van to our buddy Jordan, who needed a van with a lift.
In turn, Jordan’s family donated their minivan to Lee’s family. So in the end, 3 families benefited from the gift. Oh, how the Holy Spirit works!
In addition to this, Thumbuddy Special purchased a like-new van and installed a lift for Bryan and Angie, siblings who are both in wheelchairs. Finally, Thumbuddy Special paid for repairs on Sara’s van. All of these families are overwhelmed with your generosity. These short videos can not begin to tell the story. You were an answer to their prayers….amazing how God can work in a room full of grateful people!
Thank you again and again! This was not an easy undertaking, and there were many bumps along the way! Through the trials, the road ultimately led to 5 families getting out and Having Fun!

Lee’s Mom says It Takes a Village

Carlos received a new van with a stronger lift. His family payed it forward and passed his used van onto Jordan’s family. Jordan’s family then payed it forward to Lee’s family!!
