Friends of Thumbuddy Special
A little reminder, our “Winter is Almost Over” Party at Carlucci is this Saturday. It is not too late to let me know that you are coming. Just email me back and I’ll add your name to the list.
It will be an incredible night, 2 of our friends are coming in their “like new” vans with the lift! So exciting!
Attached are some pictures of the Bowling Field trip this past Friday. Thumbuddy Special paed for the bowling and pizza for 16 students. It really was a blast, the kids get so competitive!
Thanks to our friends at BCD Meetings and Incentives who had an office bake sale and raised $365 dollars, which happened to be the exact amount that we spent on Friday!
Another great story, a former student of mine, Alma, is the president of the Morton West High School Horizon Club. I asked her what that club does and she told me, “It is a club that bridges the gap between the disabled and the able bodied students.” Thumbuddy Special purchased Alma’s first 2 wheelchairs. She is a super-star, we are so proud of her!
