Hello Friends of Thumbuddy Special
Wow, where do I start? Another great month here at Thumbuddy Special. Our “Kids on the Go” Program is really taking off. Since last month, a great “mint” condition full size van was purchased for our friend Horacio. As I am typing, the lift is being installed. At the upcoming Carlucci Night, Horacio will receive his “like” new van with a power lift. When the family was notified, they were at a loss for words. I hope you can make it to the Carlucci Event, to meet Horacio and his family. We are so excited to give him the opportunity to get around his community. Last week when I talked to Horacio, he was saying how his family has talked about visiting his aunt in Texas, he is so thrilled about his “summer vacation” down in Texas….you go boy!
The impact we are making in the lives of these special children is really beyond words…here is the thank you from Clarissa’s mom…(last month they received a $5,000 grant toward their van)

I want to say thank you for the bike for my son Max. The bike was shipped to our house where Max, Frances and Dad put it together. That was great fun. Then Max and Frances went riding on a day that was 26F. He is looking forward to Spring and Summer riding around the neighborhood. This gift could not have come at a better time. Max is motivated to gain strength. I cannot say thank you enough, because you have given Max the gift of mobility and he is able to keep up with his able body friends. Great joy is at our house.
