We had a great day on the golf course….

A BIG thank you to all the golfers, hole sponsors and volunteers at the Thumbuddy Special Golf Outing last week.

We had a perfect day, lots of laughs and plenty of sunshine! (without the high temperatures for a change).

Lee, our buddy with Muscular Dystrophy, his brother Saul and dad, Jamie were on hand to thank us for the Used Mini-van and the contribution to the addition onto their house for accessibility. After a long process, Saul and Lee were recently adopted and we are thrilled to help their family. Lee and Saul were naturals on the microphone!

Our buddy Avery and his sister, Riley along with their parents were also on hand. Avery is a triplet, all three children have Cerebral Palsy. Avery recently received an adapted bath/toilet seat from Thumbuddy Special. Avery and Riley helped pull the winning raffle tickets…So Darn Cute! Check out the thank you from their family in the column on the left.

You are now able to help Thumbuddy Special when you purchase items on Amazon Smile. We are registered and it is as simple as can be….even I can do it! Check out the link below!

Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.
We are Blessed beyond Words!

As you know, we just completed the Kids on the Go Scholarship, this was quite a drain on our resources.

If you could please share our story with your family and friends, our circle widens. The word of mouth – ripple effect is how Thumbuddy Special has grown for 20 years.

Share and Forward! Thank you!

Dearest Mary Ellen, Thumbuddy Special Board Members and Volunteers,

It is with our greatest appreciation that we write this letter on behalf of our son, Avery Card, who was a recent recipient of brand new Rifton Hygiene-Toileting System (HTS) due to the fundraising and assistance of your organization.

This showering/ toileting chair is going change not only Avery’s life, but ours as well. He is no longer at risk of being dropped every time we put him in and out of the bathtub, and our backs are being saved from lifting this 40 pound boy out of the bathtub. This chair will also allow him the opportunity to start using the toilet and gain independence and dignity, just like other 3.5 year old.

Thank you for making a positive change to his life and helping him live to his maximum ability. May God bless all of you and all of those that you touch through your organization.

Sincerely,
Avery’s Family
