Two More Vans for “Kids on the Go”

We are so proud of our “Kids on the Go” Scholarship. This last week, Thumbuddy Special awarded two, like-new vans to 2 of our special families.

Adriana is a 5 year child with Cerebral Palsy, she is not able to walk and she will be receiving her new power wheelchair soon. Her family was in need of a van with a lift. TS purchased this slightly used van for her family. In turn, Adriana’s family donated their van to Aiden’s family. Aiden is able to walk, but the family did not have any vehicle. Mom was taking Aiden to all his doctor appointments on public transportation. These 2 vans will significantly change the lives of these 2 families.

Amazing! What the work of God can do through ordinary people performing extraordinary acts generosity!

Again, I can not possibly find the words to thank you enough for your kind hearts.
God Bless,

Mary Ellen

THANK YOU notes from Adriana and Aiden!!
We are so grateful for this wonderful blessing provided to us. Never in our wildest dreams did we think something so incredible could happen. May God Bless you all for the hard work you do to help make families lives with special needs so much easier. Without Thumbuddy Special this wheelchair van would not fit in our budget anytime soon and we still can not believe it is ours. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you! You have our greatest gratittude and a smile from ear to ear from our daughter Adriana!
Susana and Adriana

We would like to thank you for the generous donation you are making to our family. A vehicle will allow me to take Aiden to all of his doctor’s appointments, therapies and school. My son suffered a traumatic brain injury requiring a craniotome, he was orally intubated and put in a medically induced coma. I was told my son’s brain was so severely damaged, that he may never see, hear, walk, or talk. Aiden is a fighter and overcame all of the odds against him. He is a thriving boy and ready to start kindergarten next school year. Your donation will ensure Aiden is getting all of the proper care necessary. May your generous work continue to help other families in need.
Sincerely,
Brenda, Aiden’s mom
