“Mom’s Day Out” is on the Sunday, the 10th of November…
We could always use some “Pamper Items” for the baskets.
Attached is the flier, pass it on to your family, friends and co-workers……..it’s an easy collection, put a collection bag by your desk and see what you can get! This year Mom’s of children with multiple needs are treated to a day of pampering, shopping and a wonderful dinner at Carlucci Restaurant. This is one of my favorite events of the year. We need the “Pamper Items” by the 2nd of November. You can drop them off at my house or we can make arrangements for a pickup.
Here is a picture of Brooke who is crazy happy with her new iPad from Thumbuddy Special.
Brooke’s mom wrote the following note:
Brooke was born at 29 weeks with respiratory issues and was given a ventilator and a trachea. She was hospitalized for the first 9 months of her life. She has been unable to communicate to me vocally and is very frustrated because of it. Now that we have received the iPad with touch chat, Brooke is able to communicate with me clearly. I want to thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for helping Brooke and I communicate in a more effective manner.”
